Come and meet the NSW Shark Management Team as we travel the NSW coastline. You can learn more about the important role of sharks and what steps you can take to minimise chances of a shark interaction.
You can expect to see:
- Shark movement displays of some of our 500 tagged sharks from our tagging program, the largest in the world!
- Findings of trials of shark mitigation technology such as drones and personal deterrents
- How to increase self-protection through being ‘SharkSmart’
- Videos of shark behaviour and scientists in action, shark jaws, a SMART drumline unit and an interactive habitat model
- Loads of mythbusting and sharksmart activities, colouring in and other information about shark ecology and biology
